I noticed a lot of white cars, that caught me off-guard.

Thankfully, they did not work into the night.  There are some workers on site this morning but it's not clear if they will continue with the crane.  I'll post pics if they do.

Frederick Street remains closed.  Once the crane is operational I wonder if they will have to close part or all of Frederick Street the way they closed Gaukel Street for Charlie West.

The Machinery Arm was placed into position late this afternoon.

Awesome. Thanks for the updates amd pics.
Another crane on the skyline!

The Jib, or Working Arm. is being mounted and tied down.  Workers were on site all day and didn't get the Machinery Arm up until about 2 hours ago.  So I'm surprised to see the Jib go up so fast.

Something didn't work.  They took down the jib this evening.

Maybe it jacks itself? I never seen an internal crane before...though doing a little research, it showed the particularly taller buildings are sometimes built this way.

Yes this crane will lift itself within the building as it goes up. You can see the hydraulic jacks used for this within the first tower section.
any updates on the progress of the crane JGSZ

Nothing was done with the crane today.  I assume they have to fix whatever problem they encountered on Saturday.  Off course, once they have the fix Frederick Street will have to be closed.

Well, this is a surprise.  The large crane to lift the jib showed up this morning so I expect them to install it today.  Last time they tried was a week ago today.  I'll post a pic later today if they succeed.

Hopefully all is well with the crane this time.
The second surprise today was when I came home and saw that both the jib and the counterjib of the crane were taken down.  Both were up by late afternoon and they must have some kind of power because the crane rotated a bit.

Maybe progress will Go faster know with the crane.
Is it me or does the counter jib and the jib do not look straight, the counter jib looks crooked? Also does the counter jib have those stones at the back? Thank you.
