None are particularly quick, but for now that's pretty much as good as it can be.

GO route 30 will not go to Yorkdale but end at Bramalea GO, where connections are available to Union or Yorkdale.

Also looking at the new Route 25 schedule, the Cambridge SmartCentres stop has been relocated to Hespeler/Pinebush, and is no longer drop-off only going westbound. 25A trips to/from Milton GO have been cancelled.

I was given to understand that, previously, my choices were: crack of stupid or get in a little after 9 on the train, or take Greyhound.

Well... (quoting for new page)

Black: Unchanged
Blue: New
Green: Improved (same Union times, but later Kitchener departure / earlier Kitchener arrival)

Where are they parking the additional two trains which need to sit here overnight?
My guess would be that they've got the sidings at the Shirley Ave Layover Facility up and running.
I went in to Toronto a couple weeks ago on Go and that schedule looks a lot nicer, just by having that extra train right before 7. Aim for the 6:47am and if you miss you can catch the 7:10.

What would be even better is a 7:30am train that gets to Toronto before 9:30
Whoahwhoahwhoah, what!? So the 2 new trains are already online?! How did this slip through with zero media coverage or anything?!

Effective September 3, per the PDF linked at the start of this chain.
Looks like the new Shirley Ave layover facility is a lot further along than I realized. Surprised there hasn't been any photos posted.

That guys brother actually tried to kill me on New Years 2 years ago... haha long story.
Interesting first post...
Well I always like to make an entrance Smile Very, very, very long time lurker... this was just too hilarious not to post on.
Well now we need the details!
Has anyone else noticed their ears popping while riding in the top deck of the double-deckers on the 25, especially on the highway? I don't think the window seals are put in quite right.
I believe problem seals would cause noise and water leakage before it caused ear popping. Vehicles are not generally air tight and cannot hold interior pressure.

Wow, it could also be a case of its *too* tightly sealed. I know on the Shinkansen my ears were going crazy every time we went into and popped out of a tunnel, and those trains are almost as sealed as an airplane.

My smart car is so airtight that I have to slam the doors really hard to close them - but if either window is cracked even a centimetre, they just fall closed without any effort at all.

It's remarkable how airtight these types of things really are.
