Spoke to them early November and they said 2018 but who knows

But the original sale of the land said that phase one had to be started by a certain date and phase two as well. Not that they could really enforce it though.
Anyone have a picture of what tower two is supposed to look like? Or do we not know yet?

Image unavailable. Can you please upload to Imgur ? Photobucket is terrible...
Imgur no longer allows sharing on forums or other third-party sites. The best way would be to upload it as an attachment.

These renders?
(Imgur still allows you to link images, you just have to use the direct link to the file and the usual forum tags.)
Looks like they're going to start selling phase two soon, with a new name this time. All I've seen so far is the website
http://youngcondos.ca/ .

I walked by the original sales centre today, and the signage has been removed. Looking inside I saw walls have been ripped down to studs, with a pile of used insulation in the middle of the room.
I was surprised to see a stack of new drywall inside, but I suppose they're going to reuse the building for phase two.
I wonder if they will increase the height? 12 stories seem so little compared to all these other 30+ proposed towers near this building, lol
The FSR for King in Kitchener, IIRC, is 3, 6 if you max all bonusing. So if they wanted 12 storeys, they would need to maximize all other bonusing and leave half of the lot completely empty in order for a 12 storey building to maintain that 6 FSR.
Of course you can still request a variance beyond the bonusing, but the process gets more challenging. The bonusing alone can be done within the rules and then the developer avoid public hearings.
Tonight our house received a pamphlet advertising Young Condos oddly enough the only building shown was a picture of phase 1.
I'm looking to purchase a unit at City Centre. Does anyone have any experiences with the building? Any issues I should be aware of?
