Yes, concern. While neither was ever one of my preferred watering holes they are both long-term community spaces and people built important relationships with them. I've been in each several times and in my opinion their reputation is much like Cedar Hill or downtown's in general: overly negative and not entirely accurate any more.

The space formerly occupied by the Stampede Corral at Stirling and Courtland is still available though somewhat larger than where Frankie's was.
Has the former stampede spot been subdivided? it looks like it has doors and windows now.
