I remember last year trying to figure out what development plans Mr. George had for the site. I am glad to hear about a larger scale food vendor moving into the core. It would be nice if the site would be built out as mixed use but a supermarket is an upgrade over the car dealership.
Poor use of such a large prominent site near LRT in my opinion
Surprised T&T hasn't considered the region for a store yet.

At least they won't suffer from the parking problems that plague the other two Asian supermarkets.

I'd heard rumours a few years ago about a Cambridge T&T location but no store has materialized.
That's going to be a big hit to New City.
On the plus side, all the people idling in Market Lane waiting for parking spots for New City will now probably just go to this Ottawa store.
