Page 9 of the PDF is the meat of things - the preferred alignment is diagonally across the Queenston block, then running alongside Eagle St. The latter is to allow a simpler crossing of the CP line further up the riverside (a bridge for just the LRT, not the road as well).

Worth noting they’re recommending outboard running on Eagle - crazy. I can’t imagine the Surplus Store is staying, and the parking garage at the apartment towers there is going to either be heavily modified or need to go entirely.

There's plenty of room on either side of the roadway that they can make it work between King/Eagle and Eagle/William by shifting the road over by a lane width or so. The Cambridge Surplus building, however, is definitely in the way.

"I bought a piece of property, but I believe I'm entitled to all the surrounding property too".
I have no doubt we would see some of these same objections to a road project, but they would be far more easily ignored.

I love the concern for the animals too, they somehow have managed to thrive despite the diesel trains going through the area but now some electric trains are worrisome?

Her "view" overlooks a huge storage shed, an auto shop and metal manufacturing shop, and a four lane road with multiple existing rail tracks and a signalized rail crossing. There are also several billboards and a bunch of mature trees screening the home from the road. You can sort of see Riverside Park way off in the distance.
