I do wonder what it's like inside.  From the outside it definitely looks worth preserving, though.

I was in one of the apartments many years ago (as a visitor) and it's very charming inside, nice floors and a cool old elevator.

Scissor gate on the elevator? Is it too much to hope for?

I don't recall a gate on the elevator but it's been over 5 years so I can't say for certain.

When we were at the Blues Festival on the weekend, I couldn't help thinking that this view will change when the transit terminal will no longer be used.

The plan is to extend the park via a pedestrian street on Gaukel. I think connecting Victoria Park with downtown is a great opportunity and parts of the old terminal lands should be used for this. The rest should be mixed use (apartments & commercial). Given how many startups are relocating to this general vicinity there is likely to be a strong demand for both.
