Surprisingly amateurish, given that the space they've rented wouldn't be cheap.

Yes, it's definitely one of the more expensive locations. I've got the listing for it, landlord was asking $8800/month including taxes/equipment. They might be paying a little less if they supplied equipment, but that's the ballpark. It's a huge space, 3300 sq ft.

It's the old San Francisco Panini location.

I told co-workers about Yurub because someone mentioned it on this thread (before the bad experiences started piling up). They were not amused with my suggestion! The man taking the order appeared to have no idea what was available or how to take an order. The shawarma spit was on but not spinning and the chicken was mostly raw. The griddle was also covered in raw chicken. This happened around 12:15 on a Friday so it's extra ridiculous. My coworkers cancelled their order and walked out.

I'm not sure if anyone else has posted this yet, but a new arcade & craft beer bar will open at 165 King St. West in Kitchener
Looks to me like this is on the basement level (I-beams)? --> https://www.instagram.com/p/BhJ-ling38N/

This was mentioned on WRC some time ago.  Iirc, the outstanding question was whether the entrance would be off Hall's Lane or through the building.

There is a Pickel Barrel opening in Conestoga Mall sometime this winter. Its on the outside of the building where Spring Rolls use to be if I remember correctly.

Another Mr. Pretzel has opened up in Fairview Park Mall down near the Bay.   Amazing Pretzels with a variety of toppings.   Freshly made.   You can actually watch them make the pretzels.   Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

I had a pretzel there the other day and it was severely undercooked. It was still tasty though.

Looking at their web site … those pretzels don't much resemble the ones you can buy everywhere in Munich!

Gross. Used to eat at the one at the Yonge Eglinton Centre fairly often for business and it was nasty.
