Demolition fencing is now up around the Sears store

They have an excavator on site now, and this morning there were at least 20 cars and some Roberts on-site trucks.

recently they ripped up some of the pavement by the entrance at the leons and there is fencing up but the excavator left. it is about a 20 foot wide gravel patch at the leons entrance. then there is the same strip along fairway.

The fenced off area is quite large, maybe they are doing some early work for the Hendricks and Casper building 8)

Can't wait to try out the Casper mattresses they'll have there. And dine out a Hendricks afterwards.

They're doing some pretty big storm sewer work on the property in front of the Hudson's Bay to the Sears store. They are also still gutting the Sears.

It is in fact both mostly gutting but they have been using a concrete saw recently cutting stuff inside the building. You can see the dust coming out the door. The sewer pipes are at least 2 feet in diameter they seem to be running the pipe from the corner of the sears to the middle of the parking lot.

They’ve started to remove the precast panels on the former Sears.

The panels are almost all gone and they have started putting up the new walls along the front face of the building.
