Waterloo Region Connected Premium Memberships

I am excited to announce the launch of the WRConnected Premium Membership program. Having listened to feedback, this was something people wanted, a way to support the community, but get something back in return.

A number of you have donated in the past, thank you! The Premium Memberships are much like the donations in that they support the site, but with some added perks attached.   There is no requirement to purchase a membership, those who do not wish to do so can continue to use WRConnected free of charge.

So … is that an annual cost? Not clear on the premium page!

You're right, it's a little unclear.  It is an annual cost.  The same way people made annual donations.

Hi Everyone,
One of the things I really love about this site is the absolutely amazing photography we see. From scenic shots to construction updates, we've got it all. But it's a bit of a pain to post it externally and then link to it here. To make attaching and storing images easier here, Premium Members will now have 200MB of storage instead of the previous 100MB. Elite Memberships will continue to have unlimited storage.

Thank you again for all of your support!
Justin
