  • Only one username per person and/or organization.

  • No commercial postings without prior approval. If you want to advertise on Waterloo Region Connected, please contact us. Signatures are exempt from this within reason.

  • When starting a new thread, please follow the template for first posts.

  • No sexist, racist or offensive language of any kind will be allowed. Postings of a sexual nature are also prohibited. Waterloo Region Connected will remove all posts that violate the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and any and all posts deemed to be offensive or discriminatory.

  • Name calling and other such offences against other forum members will not be tolerated. Criticizing an idea is encouraged, but criticizing the person who posted it is not.

  • Respect the privacy of others. Do not post other's phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their express permission.

  • While we do our best to moderate this forum, Waterloo Region Connected will not be held liable to any posts made by independent users of this board. Please understand that this is a public discussion forum.

  • The administrators and moderators of this forum make the rules of conduct. They are also the ones that decide who stays and who goes. Banning will only come after a warning where you will be able to argue your case.
