General Food, Dining and Nightlife News

Three or four lanes of speeding, one-way traffic with almost no breaks long enough to cross safely. This badly needs a signalized crossing similar to the one across Erb St.

I think this would likely be considered too close to the Devitt crossing. I don't agree with that, but I can see no other rationale. I have cumulatively wasted a lot of time walking to Devitt to cross to walk back towards Laurel on the other side. I agree with you that there should be a crossing at Laurel. But I'm not holding my breath.

Tackling those four lanes of one-way speeding traffic is called for, too.

Edit: The situation of having a crossing at Devitt on Bridgeport but not at Laurel is doubly stupid since, on Bridgeport's twin, there is a crossing at Moore (corresponding with Laurel) but not at Devitt.
