To answer your question, Wikipedia has a tutorial. Basically, you'll need to create an account and upload the photos you want to use in the articles to Wikimedia Commons. Once that's completed, you can edit the article (you just hit "edit" at the top of the page on the article you're editing) and link to your photos in Wikimedia Commons. From what I understand of the Wikimedia Commons license, you are still to be credited with any use of the photos you upload to it. 

If you have difficulty with this, I can take a crack at it myself assuming you can get your photos on Wikimedia Commons.

I'd definitely be interested in doing this, but I'm pretty swamped at the moment!!

Understandable and certainly no rush! In the meantime, I continue to really appreciate your posts.
