Just curious - why did the Region decide that the vast majority of future development of undeveloped lands would occur in Woolwich Township North and South of Breslau?
From the Growth Strategy Map it appears that at least 3/4 of all future development will occur in this area.

These are areas where growth would have the least impact on the water table and/or prime farmland, so they were selected for that to go ahead and other areas to be outside the line.

Been noticing some significant property prep work being done across from Conestoga College's Doon Campus — next to the residences. Anyone know whats going in here? I'd assume just retail of some sort, maybe a restaurant?

The first of the two towers under construction at Highland Rd and Ira Needles is now on the 14th floor.

Crane #2 is up at Ira Needles and Highland.
Combined with the Avon Towns cranes, that makes four in a small space (and a lot of excitement for my three year old)
