Dejero has raised $32 million in series B fundraising. The company currently employees 93 people with offices in Waterloo and Buffalo, the majority of whom are based in Waterloo. They have plans to hire 50 more people in the coming year.

Not exactly Waterloo Region, but Pressa Inc from Elora is starting to see some traction for their water taste enhancing product.

Igloo has raised $60 million funding, plans to hire 75 more employees and expand into a third level at 55 King St W.

Skywatch has raised $4 million in investment and plans to double it's Waterloo workforce (20) by the end of the year.

Nicoya Lifesciences has raised $2 millions from a Consortium of Ontario investors. According to the article the company has 19 employees and has been doubling revenue and head count every year for the past 3 years.

The City of Waterloo is going high tech to detect water main breaks before they occur, planning to implement Terepac's technology in a portion of their water infrastructure network.
