Music
The Blues is coming to town, starting tomorrow!  See the show schedules here:
http://www.kitchenerbluesfestival.com/th...ugust-6-2/

It should be an awesome weekend.  I'll be posting some photos throughout the weekend (though not tomorrow, sorry), hope many of you will make it out to the concerts!

There is also a small exhibit of photos from the past festivals at the City Hall ArtSpace -- free of charge, of course.

There's a fund-raising launch party tonight from 1930hrs at the former Imbibe space of THEMUSEUM for the "Stone Soup Blues Pop Up Art Gallery" that will be open August 6-15. Funds raised will go to the Button Factory in Waterloo.

Randy Bachman was amazing and a class act. Hit songs from all aspects of his career and did a great tribute to Jeff Beck. He also had a guy from You Tube, playing a guitar solo. What was not a class act was the way the crowd was handled. This was a paid ticket event, for three acts. For the first two acts, North Mississippi All-Stars and Jon Knight and Soulstack, which were very tight and excellent, everyone had a seat, no problem. As soon as Randy came out, all of the late comers stood in the aisle between the VIP section and the rest of the audience and blocked the view of everyone in the first sections on either sides. Security was notified several times and they did nothing. Not impressed, considering it was $50 a ticket, for the best show I attended, but never saw.
