They also have a lab at Communitech.
In addition they have a larger Technology Centre at 55 Columbia St E, Waterloo.
Artic Wolf Networks which has a Waterloo office has acquired Kitchener cyber security company RootSecure.

AirBoss is expanding its capabilities at their Kitchener production facility.

It annoys me when the Record carries stories like that without mentioninng whether/how many new jobs will result.

Does anyone have any idea how much of the plant Air Boss actually uses?
I don't think that James E. Wagner Cultivation (JWC) has its own thread (yet?), but I see that they have officially opened the first phase of their operation in the former Lear Seating plant on Manitou Dr, with plans to hire 400 employees.

Pretty good news, a company has bought Intelligent Mechatronics Systems after the company went into receivership earlier this year. Trak Global Group plans to invest and grow the company.
According to this article IMS had 118 employees in 2017 and is now down to 65.

Waterloo EDC's CEO predicts surprising economic growth in 2019.

There goes the neighbourhood... :-)

Let's hope that the existing, promised capital investments, both from private and public sources of support, materialize.
Really not good news for all local employees of the Erwin Hymer Group.

Especially with the impending sale excluding the local organization due to these financial irregularities. Some reports have been saying that prior to the layoff last week over 1000 people were employed locally.
