Trinity United site, presumably.

Probably Trinity plus the building with the Exclamation restaurant. That would be a nice project, and an excellent location, too.

Here's an interesting piece of unrelated information from the article.

Another application for a 33-storey mixed-use building has also been submitted by IN8 Developments Inc., for the corner of Duke and Frederick Street.

IN8 has to date only done progressively more interesting projects in the student area, nice to see them expanding that experience to other neighbourhoods.
I'd love to learn more details about this IN8 project.
I assume it must be for the corner with Exclamation Point?

It won't be the courthouse, or the cenotaph, and unlikely to be Market Square, so Exclamation is the logical conclusion.
Is it known whether the building on the corner is part of the redevelopment site? IE, did the church own it?
Thread name is a place holder until further details are known.

Location: 74 Frederick St, Kitchener, Ontario
Developer: IN8 Developments Inc
Project: 33 storey mixed use development

Wait, THIRTY-THREE storeys? Wow, that's a big one.

Yeah....if everything goes according to plan, DTKitchener is going to be one handsome DT.
Is $3.5 million for 0.28 hectares ($12.4 million per hectare) a lot for downtown Kitchener theses days?
Andrin paid $3.1M for a 1-hectare site for City Centre Condos. But that was before the LRT, and the city really wanted a good buyer for the property.

Highest yet, no?
And on a hill, so tallest by a good margin, I should think.
Under way already? The parking lot has been fenced in and equipment is onsite.
