Check out Hive Modular, as well - I am hoping that one day, when we are ready to move into a new home, we'll have one.  They have a few homes in Canada now and even have a Toronto office to support them.

Chipperfield Architecture has finished a beautifully simple project in China, creating a community of little modernist apartments within an existing natural area. Something like this around Victoria Park or any green area would look really nice. There is a real lack of proper architecture in smaller dwellings in Kitchener/Waterloo, though there are a couple interesting firms doing original works. http://www.dezeen.com/2015/10/26/xixi-we...-hangzhou/

The shortlist for building of the year has some nice examples of modern brutalism and other nice concrete uses.

I also noticed the prominence of concrete in this year's contenders.  Is this something new, or have I just not noticed that exposed concrete had made a comeback?  Or maybe it never went away?

I'm no expert, but I get the feeling that concrete is making a comeback.
