The second phase Breithaupt Block does have one, along King St W. https://goo.gl/maps/agztxsT9iJFdgAL48 RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - Joedelay Highhoe - 04-19-2021 (04-19-2021, 10:18 AM)jeremyroman Wrote:(04-19-2021, 08:42 AM)Joedelay Highhoe Wrote: Also Vidyard and D2L, but I don't think the new google building or breithaupt block has a rooftop patio. My bad! I've been up on the upper roof but I didn't realize there was a secondary roof. I noticed that the signage is gone.I noticed the Coming Soon sign has been put back up sometime between Yesterday and Today. RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - GtwoK - 10-12-2021 Lots of work being done in the Tim Hortons unit the past few days. Wall tiling and flooring and lighting and all that going in. If they'll be bringing staff in from other locations rather than training all new staff I'd imagine they could open in less than a month RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - Coke6pk - 10-13-2021 (10-12-2021, 05:13 PM)GtwoK Wrote: If they'll be bringing staff in from other locations rather than training all new staff I'd imagine they could open in less than a month THD isn't corporately owned, so unless that particular franchise owner has other locations, this isn't an option. RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - GtwoK - 11-11-2021 Decorations on the walls of the Tim Hortons now and what looked to be boxes of perishable product filling up the space. Still no signage up outside though, but with perishable product id imagine they've gotta open within the next 2 weeks, if that RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - panamaniac - 11-11-2021 If the perishables are doughnuts, I think they have to sit for three weeks before Timmies sells ‘em.
RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - GtwoK - 12-09-2021 Outer signage has been up for about a week now. Inside looks like it should be open (menu signage on, tables and chairs setup, etc), but yet the store is closed. Brickwork being finished on the Queen St side of things and it actually looks really nice. The facade is complete (sans brickwork) all the way along the Queen St side. Dont suppose we know of any other tenants moving in? Looks like the building is ready for them RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - panamaniac - 12-09-2021 How has the back facing the lane been finished? RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - Lens - 12-09-2021 I've heard rumours of uptown's White Rabbit (or same ownership) opening in the Caper's space. Quite the flip if so. Quite the flip if so. Talk about gentrification then haha. I don't go to dive bars (or any bars really) but Caper's was iconic. Every city needs a few awful bars like that. RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - tomh009 - 12-10-2021 Timmy's is open now. RE: American Block Redevelopment | 3 fl | U/C - GtwoK - 12-10-2021 Ah, you beat me to it! ![]() ![]() ![]()
