RE: Ottawa LRT - KevinL - 01-21-2019 Looks like the stations have some issues to consider. https://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/ottawa-lrt-inspections-reveal-drainage-system-gaffes-concrete-filled-sewer RE: Ottawa LRT - Canard - 01-22-2019 More problems for Ottawa: https://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/the-twisted-tale-of-wood-for-lrt-stations?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1548156955 RE: Ottawa LRT - Canard - 01-30-2019 RE: Ottawa LRT - Spokes - 01-30-2019 Looks fast!! Edit: I didnt realize the video from the tweet was playing on repeat and was thinking, my goodness how many trains are they testing at the same time and why the hell are they so close?? RE: Ottawa LRT - jamincan - 01-30-2019 5 second headways! RE: Ottawa LRT - Canard - 02-12-2019 Take a virtual tour of Lyon station! http://www.octranspo.com/ready4rail/my_station#lyon_360 RE: Ottawa LRT - Spokes - 02-12-2019 So cool! Can't wait to get up to Ottawa this summer. RE: Ottawa LRT - Canard - 02-14-2019 Ouch!!! https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/ottawa-buys-light-rail-train-no-track-record-1.5017483 But no matter, I’m sure Metrolinx will still continue to flaunt their new French boyfriend around, saying how much better he is than their hard-working husband who’s just trying to keep a roof over their heads. RE: Ottawa LRT - Spokes - 02-14-2019 I'm still not sold on the fact that Ottawa's line opens before ours. RE: Ottawa LRT - tomh009 - 02-14-2019 But is it a fact? RE: Ottawa LRT - Canard - 02-14-2019 Is what a fact? Neither line has or has ever had an official opening date. I’m with Spokes! RE: Ottawa LRT - KevinL - 02-14-2019 Despite my retweet, that story is a bit overhyped - this is a new model from Alstom, but it has a lot of established design behind it. It's still news that there are delays associated with it. RE: Ottawa LRT - Canard - 02-14-2019 The fact they have so few vehicles available is what’s alarming. We actually have a higher percentage of our fleet available for testing and training.
