I feel like they have 2 people working on this because you never see anyone in the photos and barely anything appears to change haha. But it's Auburn...they still haven't finished The Barrelyards and they started that a decade ago. This will probably take until 2040 to fully complete. A shame there isn't a way the government can approve a project but on the condition that it gets done ASAP, at least within the context of the housing crisis.

You don't see anyone in the photos because I take them on the weekend or after 4PM when they quite for the day.

The third photo is taken at the back corner on Palmer. You might notice that it is basically at ground level. The front along Courtland is not at ground level because the road is higher there.

I live on Stirling near Mill, a few blocks away. It is not noisy whenever I have walked by while work is going on. The traffic on the street is noisier.

Oh wow when did the cranes go up? I would have hoped construction start a year or 2, or3(?) Ago but at least we got going.

What is the mix again, office and purpose built rental or for sale condos?

It's Auburn, as such it will be rental.

Its roughly 4000 rental units in total, buildings A-C are around 500 if I recall correctly.

The old office and warehouse will be used as office and commercial.

The most recent public renderings are from the OPA/ZBA.

Keep in mind that the 4 buildings closest to Stirling have a cumulative height approval of 40 floors more than that is in the rendering.

Also keep in mind that just because it was approved at the OPA/ZBA stage at a certain height doesn't mean that is the final height, for example Vive's 1001 King (Eureka) will only be 29 floors, however it was approved at OPA/ZBA at 30. Take any render you see with a grain of salt because things change alot.
