Seems like there will be a "mystery public use vendor" on the first floor, off of Goudies Lane. And a Mural going up on the Ontario St facing wall. Also a rooftop patio! Will be nice to see more greenery on roofs downtown

Seen at about 1630hrs this afternoon - the entire herd of Vidyard employees, many wearing the company shiirts (and one woman carrying an open bottle of bubbly!) left the current office carrying office stuff, I assume to move into 8 Queen. Strangest office move I've ever seen.

Good old Tech Companies; like to do things "outside the box". My company (Shopify) did something similar when they moved our offices in Ottawa.

I saw this at about the same time coming home from downtown- masses of employees in company attire roaming about downtown. I saw two with bottles- it looked like they were having a lot of fun, good on them!

Could they/Should they not have taken the three left columns at "ground level" actually down to ground level? They look like they are just a really fake facade ... IMO

The black brick fad is OK, as long as it doesn't get overdone. On this particular building, I would have preferred something more similar to the original brick, along the lines of the neighbouring Conservatory building. Not fatal, but just not entirely to my taste (I know, how dare they!).

A similar colour brick can look just as jarring. They did that on the first floor of the Royal Hotel facade in Galt and you can tell the difference right away.
