Same person (or family, as it may be). They founded and own Farah's Food Mart, Hasty Market, Mini-Mart and now MarketOn. Immigrants originally from Nazareth, they now live in the Hamilton area. Kalemart24 (at Civic 66, Weber/Scott) has a focus on healthy foods, includes premium chocolate (not Lindt) selection and a variety of gelato and non-dairy “ice creams”. Plus a variety of fresh sandwiches as well. Overall, it’s somewhere between a high-end depanneur and a Japanese konbini. Hope they will be successful!
