I am tired of going to Florida. My wife is a Disney fanatic and truthfully if I never saw Disney again it would be too soon. 

I have a young child who will be 3 during my anticipated travel time.

I was thinking about flying from Toronto to Madrid and then taking the train to Malaga and renting a car to explore the countryside. I was also thinking about renting a place to stay via VRBO or something like that. 

No part of this trip is decided on. I recognize the resourcefulness of many of the regulars on these forums and would appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Good for the country that the lid of oppression was lifted. I will soon be going to Barcelona and am very much looking forward to it and to interacting with an unencumbered citizenry.
