The Huether was a regular part of my life for a very long time - my family would go pretty much weekly for wings and many variations of friends of my parents and their families would come and go. When I came of drinking age, it was one of my favourite places especially in the summer. I've not been a regular there for a very long time (the Adlys family's very public views on homosexuality moved me to be strongly disinclined), so me saying I'm never going to go back isn't going to affect them in any meaningful way, but this is it for me. The Adlys family is notoriously odious already and this is the last straw for me. There are so many better wings options, and plenty of patios that are just as enjoyable.

Quite disappointing. I, too, have seen many excellent movies at the Princess.
But, like the Walper barbershop, this also appears to have been a month-to-month rental, with all the risks that come along with avoiding the commitment of a long-term lease. An unfortunate outcome but it should not have been a total surprise that this would (eventually) happen.

That would take a good deal of work to convert the building, and I wouldn't call the location ideal.

Just to be clear, did the Princess open as a porn theatre, or did it move into space previously occupied by a porn theatre?

Any building in DTK (or UTW) would take a good deal of work: there are no more movie theatres. And it's what they already did with Princess 2.
The location is only a block away from King St, and only three blocks from King & Queen. That's roughly as central as the Princess's current location.

Probably too large a space (how many seats does the old Princess space have?). The semi-basement space of the never-finished reconstruction at the east end of the American Hotel block might be interesting.
