This has been progressing behind the scenes for awhile. They had a SPA for a shorter building around 8 or so floors back in 2020 or so. It was a much smaller footprint than this one.

This is one of the projects that got a water allocation from the Region in the first release meaning it can go ahead to construction, the city now has all required permits applied for and under review...
