Socialist (really, Soviet) architecture ... well, maybe, kind of. I've seen lots of that in my lifetime, and it's not quite the same, although admittedly there are some commonalities. Here is a late-Soviet building from the 1980s in Ukraine (probably now destroyed in the Russian attack):

Mostly I just see boring overuse of CIFS, though.

I think the new design could be improved if they rounded all of the corners like they did in the top middle above the balconies. That little change would give it a more cohesive look.
