This one has significant enough damage it actually made it into local news.

From the side it was hit on I'd guess that it made a left from Ottawa onto Dundas right into the train's path. That's probably tougher for the LRV driver to predict than if it had been making a right onto Ottawa, I hope the driver and passengers weren't too shook up by that hit.

Ctv says the van was turning into the parking lot. Another case of someone not looking before they turn. Nothing to see here.

Looks like metrolinx has given up entirely on building their own signaling system. And to boot they say that was always the plan. Goodness we got shafted by that.

Looks like ION service will be cut to 20 minutes today and 15 minutes afterwards, although I hadn't noticed the train coming less frequently past my house.
I am a little concerned by this, yes, volumes are down, but it is important to avoid crowding, I hope they are using the extra time in order to disinfect vehicles more often.

All reports I've seen from ION/GRT are that trains and buses are almost completely empty. When I've seen them go by it's only been 1-2 people on the train.

Has there been updates on ATP? Now would be a good chance to do more testing?

Last I heard they were still working on it...but they didn't want to give any more details than that, so who knows.
