That's the thing. They're not "forced" to live in Victoria Park. They choose to live there. Our leadership allows them to stay. Then those who always have something negative to say about some aspect of downtown rightfully point to this example as more proof.
What is their choice? Victoria Park or...where? I mean, sure, they're homeless, they could just go live on some other piece of land. They are forced to live on the street is what I meant.
And you're right, our leadership does force them to stay, by failing to provide meaningful alternatives for them.
