Are they also adding a staircase or just the ramp? Stairs (or an elevator!) are a nice option for pedestrians. 😊

Based on the plans both sides will have stairs as well as the ramp. If you look at Acitta's last picture of the Avalon side the concrete columns that are formed are the supports for the stairs. On the Chandler side they have yet to form those columns as the bridge has to move onto the highway first right through where those columns will go.
