Huether Hotel to become an apartment complex with 500 rental units and an arts hub:

500 units is big -- that's about 20 units per floor, assuming the Waterloo height restrictions. It would need to be either two towers or one very large floorplate.

I can't get excited yet, given how few substantial central Waterloo proposals have actually broken ground in the last 10 years.
