I had to go to Freeport for a medical appointment on Thursday. I took a taxi there, since the sidewalk to the bus stop was impassible. I took the GRT home. The sidewalks at the Fairway bus terminal were not cleared, forcing me to walk on the road with my walker to get to the ION. I got off the ION at Kitchener Market Station and had to get over a mound of snow to get onto the bus. My stop on Stirling was cleared, but I fell trying to get over the snow at the corner of Mill. If it wasn't for my medical appointment, I would have stayed home.

It certainly sucks when we get a real winter for people like yourself who rely on walking.  If you need a ride sometime and conditions aren't favorable, reach out and DM me.  I would be happy to help if I am not at work and  available to give you a lift.

I have taxi discount tickets which I can use if necessary, but I prefer the bus which is free. Anyhow, I hope that my legs will be back to normal by summer so I can bike again. I miss biking.
