UFCW Canada Local 12R24 might not like it, but I propose this solution that would even allow us to implement a deposit system on regular bottles/cans to reduce the amount we put into our own landfills (or literally ship half-way around the planet to places like Philippines...because environmentally that makes so much sense to do):
