I see some job postings for track maintenance in Waterloo..

This is pretty dull but they have a large operations management software business - think of a whole building connected to the network with centralized connections to HVAC and production machinery and all sorts of sensors. It’s big money but dull as hell. Their software teams are mostly in Oakville and do this BMS stuff and their cybersecurity services. The rail group also seems to work with Metrolinx.
