Last vacancy rate recorded was 3.6 percent. A healthy vacancy rate is 5 to 8 percent. This was before the recent immigration crackdown. I’m seeing more and more for rent signs. Rentals rates are definitely negotiable these days. Plus if you look on mls, the number of listings has increased immensely. Entry level condos are going for $500 a square foot.
