General Food, Dining and Nightlife News

The Michelin guide lists restaurant types, almost categories, when recommending a place. Odd Duck was listed as "creative" for their extremely unusual flavour combinations, which is what the guide raved about in the review. I think the endorsement has to be viewed through that lens.

As far as restaurants go that are trying weird and new things, I'm not surprised they made the guide. The things I see from them are significantly more unique and innovative than most other places around.

Getting from just being listed in the guide to being starred though, that's where you've got to combine creativity with flawless execution. They're definitely not on that level (yet).
