Just noticed there was finally a public consultation for this yesterday (January 26th).
Personally, I think the preferred concept seems a bit to extravagant for Galt. I get what they're trying to do, and I like the idea of a lookout point halfway a cross the bridge, but the metal "weave" doesn't seem to fit in with historic Galt at all.
