I known Roadtrek has been mentioned here before, but it's worth mentioning again. They have since been purchased by the Erwin Hymer Group, the top RV manufacturer in Europe. They have four facilities in Waterloo Region: Shirley Avenue, Shirley Drive, Reuter Drive (beside Toyota (TMMC)) in a building that previously housed ATS, and Blackberry 'C1', and a brand new facility on Tyler in Cambridge off Pinebush. They currently manufacture the number one selling class B motor home in North America.
They are booming, and holing job fairs. I don't know of any other local employer who is so desperate to hire that they have commercials on the radio trying to get people in the door. Good news indeed and I wish them continued success! An asset to the region for sure.
