Waterloo Region reported only three new cases today; the new case increase was 0.2% of the total cases to date and 3.7% of the current active caseload. Active cases in the region were down by three to 82, and down 11 in the past seven days, from 93 to 82.

Testing data reported now (the past two days there was no data), but only 856 tests over the past three days -- are they no longer doing testing clinics? The positivity was 1.5% for those three days, and maybe 1.0% today. 1.0% average positivity rate over the last seven days.

And I just noticed a bit of good news: the outbreak at Forest Heights Revera was finally declared to be over on Tuesday!

Ontario reported 165 new cases today, for a seven-day average of 174 new cases. 179 recoveries and only two deaths -- a new low -- translated to a decrease of 16 active cases, which are now at 1,944, in spite of a weekly total change of +26. 24,194 tests for a 0.5% positivity rate. The positivity rate is averaging just 0.75% for the past seven days.

The new cases are 0.5% of the total and 8.5% of the number of active cases. New cases averaging 8.8% of actives over the past seven days.

Hospital population now down to just 155 while the ICU population held steady at 40 (+0).
