There is the Kingsdale neighbourhood north of the mall (which is so old the streets are numbered avenues), but everything else is past Homer Watson. The rest is just factories, fields and a couple houses around Hidden Valley. I've always thought of the Boardwalk as the epicentre of suburbia for this city. It's so far away from anything and getting around demands a car.
Boardwalk definitely the new epicentre. Fairway the old retail centre around which residences drove to get to.
