Waterloo Region reported 119 new cases today (13.9% of the active cases) plus two more for yesterday (now totaling 77); 749 new cases for the week (-42), averaging 10.9% of active cases. 859 active cases, -235 in the last seven days.

Ontario reported 2,528 new cases today with a seven-day average of 2,750 (-100). 2,990 recoveries and 46 deaths translated to a drop of 508 active cases and a new total of 26,061. -3,246 active cases for the week and 425 deaths (61 per day). 70,256 tests for a positivity rate of only 3.60%. The positivity rate is averaging 4.92% -- backbelow 5%! -- for the past seven days compared to 5.79% for the preceding seven.
