Waterloo Region reported 40 new cases for today (9.7% of the active cases) and five more for yesterday for a total of 76; 335 new cases for the week (-10), averaging 13.8% of active cases. 414 active cases, +83 in the last seven days.

Ontario reported 1,185 new cases today with a seven-day average of 1,108 (-6). 984 recoveries and 16 deaths translated to an increase of 185 active cases and a new total of 10,479. +42 active cases for the week and 112 deaths (16 per day). 59,416 tests for a positivity rate of 1.99%. The positivity rate is averaging 2.43% for the past seven days, compared to 2.40% for the preceding seven.
In the past week there have been 122 cases (+30) of B.1.1.7 (UK), 16 cases (+11) of B.1.351 (SA) and one case (+0) of P.1 (BR) variant.
