Waterloo Region reported 44 new cases for today (7.6% of the active cases) and none more for yesterday for 62; 455 new cases for the week (-5), averaging 10.7% of active cases. 559 active cases, -93 in the last seven days.
An average of 1,055 daily tests for the past week for a positivity rate of 6.16%.
1,878 doses of vaccine administered with a seven-day average of 3,380. At this pace, the dose count will reach 70% of the regional population on 2021-07-08 (+7 days). This date is now trailing the provincial one by 19 days (+7). Apparently, half the vaccine supply is now being redirected to hot spots, most of which are outside our region.
