Waterloo Region reported 22 new cases for today (14.4% of the active cases) and none fewer for yesterday for 13; 124 new cases for the week (-1 from yesterday and +0 from last week), averaging 11.3% of active cases. 156 active cases, +4 in the last seven days.

2,306 doses of vaccine administered, with a seven-day average at 2,421 (previous week was 4,222). 68.64% of total provincial population vaccinated (+0.07% from yesterday, +0.50% from 7 days ago), 60.12% fully vaccinated (+0.34% from yesterday, +2.58% from 7 days ago).

Ontario reported 423 new cases today with a seven-day average of 261 (+17), compared to 189 a week ago. 232 recoveries and seven deaths translated to an increase of 184 active cases and a new total of 2,242. +575 active cases for the week and 25 deaths (four per day). 14,963 tests with a positivity rate of 2.83%. The positivity rate is averaging 1.52% for the past seven days, compared to 1.12% for the preceding seven. 85 patients in ICU (+3 today, +6 for the week) with COVID-19.
