Waterloo Region reported 20 new cases for today (14.4% of the active cases) and zero additional for yesterday for nine; 128 new cases for the week (+5 from yesterday and +3 from last week), averaging 12.7% of active cases. 140 active cases, -4 in the last seven days.

1,792 doses of vaccine administered yesterday, with a seven-day average at 1,772 (previous week was 2,143). 69.42% of total regional population vaccinated (+0.12% from yesterday, +0.49% from 7 days ago), 62.87% fully vaccinated (+0.18% from yesterday, +1.60% from 7 days ago).
Ontario reported 531 new cases today with a seven-day average of 498 (+2), compared to 375 a week ago. 338 recoveries and three deaths translated to an increase of 176 active cases and a new total of 4,243. +1,375 active cases for the week and 13 deaths (two per day). 26,213 tests with a positivity rate of 2.03%. The positivity rate is averaging 2.36% for the past seven days, compared to 1.95% for the preceding seven. Still no ICU data today.
