Waterloo Region reported 19 new cases for today (13.3% of the active cases) and three additional for yesterday for 22; 124 new cases for the week (+3 from yesterday and -6 from last week), averaging 12.5% of active cases. 147 active cases, +3 in the last seven days.

Ontario reported 689 new cases today with a seven-day average of 534 (+16), compared to 399 a week ago. 475 recoveries and one death translated to an increase of 213 active cases and a new total of 4,660. +1,234 active cases for the week and 12 deaths (two per day). 26,096 tests with a positivity rate of 2.64%. The positivity rate is averaging 2.40% for the past seven days, compared to 2.14% for the preceding seven.
130 people in the ICU, -5 from yesterday but +48 over the last week. The total hospital population was at 212, +76 for the week.
45,748 doses of vaccine administered yesterday, with a seven-day average at 40,929 (previous week was 45,957). 72.70% of total provincial population vaccinated (+0.10% from yesterday, +0.56% from 7 days ago), 66.11% fully vaccinated (+0.21% from yesterday, +1.36% from 7 days ago).
