Waterloo Region reported 17 new cases for today (6.7% of the active cases) and none fewer for yesterday for 21; 178 new cases for the week (+5 from yesterday and +8 from last week), averaging 11.7% of active cases. 220 active cases, +28 in the last seven days.
An average of 1,140 tests/day for the past 7 days, for a positivity rate of 2.23%, down from last week's 4.70% (albeit at twice the daily number of tests).
Seven-day vaccination average is at 1,223 doses/day (previous week was 1,133). 75.88% of total regional population vaccinated (+0.59% from 7 days ago), 70.77% fully vaccinated (+0.90% from 7 days ago).
