Waterloo Region reported 18 new cases for today (8.2% of the active cases) and one fewer for yesterday for 16; 168 new cases for the week (-10 from yesterday and -9 from last week), averaging 10.8% of active cases. 174 active cases, -29 in the last seven days.

Seven-day vaccination average is at 1,225 doses/day (previous week was 1,208). 75.97% of total regional population vaccinated (+0.61% from 7 days ago), 70.90% fully vaccinated (+0.92% from 7 days ago).
Ontario reported 463 new cases today with a seven-day average of 692 (-18), compared to 722 a week ago. 783 recoveries and six (new) deaths translated to a decrease of 327 active cases and a new total of 5,851. -85 active cases and 37 deaths for the week. 34,365 tests with a positivity rate of just 1.18%, a nice number that we haven't seen for a while. The positivity rate is averaging 2.30% for the past seven days, compared to 2.85% for the preceding seven.
