Haha. Dollarama-tier development. Hopefully you didn't pay too much to live in this shitty project. My condolences.

False or misleading representations and deceptive marketing practices under the Competition Act

Quote:The Competition Act contains provisions addressing false or misleading representations and deceptive marketing practices in promoting the supply or use of a product or any business interest. All representations, in any form whatever, that are false or misleading in a material respect are subject to the Act. If a representation could influence a consumer to buy or use the product or service advertised, it is material. To determine whether a representation is false or misleading, the courts consider the "general impression" it conveys, as well as its literal meaning...

I'd say the slogan @ Garment Street Condos "Finely Tailored Living" was a "False or Misleading Representations and Deceptive Marketing" of the living conditions at this project.  In addition to the pool, there's been water softener issues, HVAC issues, a 1st year deficit recovery issue, an issue with the property manager provided by Momentum, issue with the garage door, lying from lawyers* about delayed occupancy compensation [* I guess that really shouldn't be a surprise: "Q: How can you tell when a lawyer is lying? A: Their lips are moving."].

Who wants to go swimming? This the quality you can expect from Machiavellian Developments.  It's the 3rd summer here and the pool hasn't opened all season...PATHETIC

At least the “Shallow water no diving” sign is accurate!

Omfg...I can see so many things going wrong in that picture it's amazing! Lol contemporary development, architecture and the resulting projects are so bad now. You basically got scrammed which is really unfortunate. It goes on so often now. I hope you can find a way to recoup some losses or at the very least find a well built place to call home.

People call me a troll for hating on this region and everything that happens in it, but this highlights exactly why. Anyone that speaks positively about this region has lost their mind.

I still have hope in the region. Misplaced hope perhaps. Hope for too long.

What needs to happen?!
